For this workshop we’ll go through the basics of GitHub, from an explanation of what “version control” is and why it’s awesome, to a hands-on training. By the end of the session, you will have your very own GitHub repository and will have the know-how needed to store your future projects there!
We’ll be meeting at the UAA/APU Consortium Library, room 309, at 6pm on July 31.
As always, the workshop is free, though parking is $2/hour until 7:30.
We chose the time on this one to allow us to participate in AEDC’s Entrepreneur Week and help give some of the ladies who joined/will join us after our first GitHub session a chance to catch up. (We’ll tie this all into the HTML and CSS workshops very nicely!)
